We spent a second night in Sugar Bay .
Sitting on the back of the boat we spotted an osprey and his/her nest not far
from us.
We awoke to a light fog rolling on the water.
After breakfast we went to shore to take a walk. Along the
way we found a Katydid just sitting in the middle of the gravel road.
We went for a swim then had some lunch. Not long after that
Randy noticed we
had a stow away on board. He was hiding under a rug in the back salon.
Not sure where he came from but later figured out how he got on board. Randy put him the water and the first thing he did was swim back to the boat and started to climb right up the side.
We then took him over to Time
and Tide (Gary & Christelle) who had come into the bay earlier, to show
them. He jumped into the water and started to climb up on their boat. We all
decided that wasn’t a good idea so instead we caught him again and took him to
shore and let him go.
Gary and Christelle came over for “Happy Hour” and while
they were here Randy was telling them we were having some issues with our grill
not working. My son’s girlfriend Jenn once told me: men in groups watch out! Well
this time it turned out good. It seems the hose connecting the propane tank to
the grill was plugged. Gary
had a spare hose on board and is letting us borrow it till we can get it
replaced.
