40 miles     Tombigbee mm #52.8 to Mobile river mm #12.2, AL

We pulled out of our anchorage at 1000. The storm that was predicted for last night turned out to be just some rain. We waited to make sure the rain was done, than when the sun came back out, off we went. Since we are getting closer to Mobile Bay we are seeing more industry.

 

Half way into our day the Tombigbee River joined the Mobile river so we said goodbye to the Tombigbee.

 

 

 

 

Next we passed under the I65 Freeway. This is the second time traveling under this freeway. We went under it while we were cruising on the Tennessee River a month ago.

 

 

We stopped at 1430 at our anchorage for the night. This anchorage reminds us of the Disney Jungle River Adventure.

 

 

 We saw our first alligator.

 

After anchoring we dropped the dingy and went exploring.
