We are staying at Caladesi Island for another day. It’s a short walk from the marina to the Gulf beach so we took a walk this morning along the shoreline. It seems strange to me to be walking in shorts on a beach in the middle of Nov. This was a bitter/sweet experience for me. My parents went to Florida every winter and one of my mothers’ favorite pastimes was going for walks on the beach looking for shells. I believe Mom was with us today and helped us find 4 sandollars.
