27 miles    Decatur to Joe Wheeler Resort

Left Decatur AL at 0730 and said goodbye to a very industrial area.

 

 

This one is for the cat lovers.

 

We are headed to Joe Wheeler State park for an AGLCA (American Great Loop Cruising Assoc.) rendezvous which are members of. At this rendezvous we will meet up with about 60 other boats that are in the process of looping like us and others that come by car. There will be several days of seminars and talks about the areas that we will be boating in from here to Norfolk, VA. There will be classes on first aid, engine maintenance, provisioning to go to the Bahamas, and more.
