Wednesday Oct. 2 

83 miles     Tenn. river mm #547 to Chattanooga, TN

We started our day at 0815 and went through 2 locks. Both locks were ready for us when we got there so we didn’t have to wait at either one. It was a little foggy to start but then the sun came out and turned out to be a beautiful 80 degree day. We arrived in Chattanooga, TN at 1615 and tied up to the same dock we were at a week ago on the way up river. There are a couple other “Looper” boats here so we will go and talk to them later this evening.

Today’s blog is dedicated to my Mother. She would have been 81 years old today. This message is short and sweet just like she was. (For those of you that didn't know my Mom, she was barely 5 foot).
