Fri. May 9    0730/1510

53 miles       Carolina Beach, NC to Mile Hammock Bay, NC

Today was another beautiful day on the water with sunshine and 85 degrees. We didn’t have any trouble spots with water depth but we did have one 12’ bridge that we had to get through that only opened on the hour. To time the bridge we cranked her up and burned a little extra fuel for the last couple of miles.

Along the ICW.

This tiny spit of land had a palm tree and a parking meter.
We didn't stop so I'm not sure how much it costs to stop here.

Looked like a Queen of the Sea statue.

Our anchorage borders Camp Lejeune Marine Base.
