22 miles       Waccamaw River Anchorage, SC to Barefoot Marina, Myrtle Beach SC

Last night the wind totally stopped. When we woke up and looked outside it looked like we were sitting on a mirror. The reflection on the water all around us was amazing. The wind picked up a little bit during the day but not a lot to offset the 90 degree temps.

Myrtle Beach is a golfers dream place. We saw 6 courses just from the ICW.

 

 This cable car is used to get the golfers across the water.

 

We chose this marina to visit Rick & Margi, whom we met last fall and travelled down the rivers with them. They started the loop from here last year and finished a couple of weeks ago.

 

 The beach was about 3 miles from the marina. Looking south

and north as far as you can see are condos & hotels.
