41 miles      Minim Creek Anchorage, SC to Waccamaw River Anchorage, SC

Our travel day was split in two parts. First we stopped in Georgetown, SC at a free day dock. This is a very quaint town with some very friendly people. We took a walk, ate lunch, bought some shrimp, and got back under way.

The second part of our day we put the flat marshy rice fields behind us and now find ourselves in Cyprus swamps. We also left behind palm trees. After almost 6 months it seems strange not look out and see one.

 

Our anchorage tonight is just off the ICW surrounded by these Cyprus trees in the Waccamaw River.
