Our day started out sunny with temperatures in the mid 80’s. This morning we took a walk to get some groceries than came back to the boat and washed all the salt off. We are finally back in fresh water. YEAH!!!

After lunch we went on another walk along the Historic Old Champlain Canal Towpath. This is a 3 mile bike/hiking trail along the original canal that was built in 1832 which connected the Hudson River in Waterford to Lake Champlain in Whitehall. By 4:30 the sky turned black and a thunderstorm came through so the boat got another bath. Oh well, she can never be too clean.

 

 Saw a woodchuck along the way.
