We decided to stay put for another day. Thunderstorms & electrical storms are predicted here all day. Between the storms we got out and went for walks. There is a very nice path near the lock that is used by hikers and bikes in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. It connects to several other paths and goes for hundreds of miles. They even have signs to let you know many miles to the next fuel stop.

The boat is docked right in front of the Visitors Center so we don’t even have to get off the boat to use their Wi-Fi.
